ABOUT STEPHEN R. CLARK
Hey! Thanks for visiting my blog. My name is Stephen R. Clark (aka Stephen) and I’m a veteran award-winning writer. Which means I’ve been writing for, um, a lot of years.
In fact, this past summer I released an exciting new award-winning religious thriller titled The Hungering Dark: Awakening. The book was the 2015 Grand Prize winner of the First Look contest sponsored by WestBow Press, a division of Thomas Nelson and Zondervan (both owned by HarperCollins).
The book contains thematic elements that are very relevant to what we see in the world today. It’s set in a fictional small town (Timbuk) located in southwestern Pennsylvania where a mysterious and deadly threat -- housed in a strange puzzle box -- has found its way. The object’s origins reach all the way back to Moses, the plagues, and Pharaoh’s wicked magicians.
You can order the book online and learn more about it at www.TheHungeringDarkStory.com. Check it out. I think you will enjoy it.
I’m a native of New Castle, Indiana and a graduate of Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. Like I said, I’ve been writing for a long time, around 40 plus years. A lot of what I’ve written was done for companies I worked for. This would be stuff like online content, ad copy, scripts, speeches, direct mail, feature articles, and much more. Nothing you’d probably be interested in reading. If you're interested in my writing services, go to CleverSmithWriting.com to learn more.

I’ve also ghostwritten several Christian books including Preparing for Battle by Mark Bubeck (Moody Press). And I’ve contributed chapters to compilations, devotionals, and other books including the NIV Men’s Devotional Bible (Zondervan) and Inside Mysteries of the Bible (Time & American Bible Society).
Recently I’ve written a few things for the American Bible Society, In Touch, the Evangelical Press Association (of which I'm a member), and a few others.
I maintain a personal website at www.StephenRClark.com where you’ll find a lot more information about me and samples of even more writing.
You can also follow me on Facebook at www.facebook.com/StephenRClarkWriter and on Twitter at www.twitter.com/stephenrclark.
I am joyfully married to BethAnn Clark and we reside in Oreland, Pennsylvania where we are members of Huntingdon Valley Presbyterian Church in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania.

FYI: Unlike many “professional” religious blogs, many associated with an organization or denomination, this blog is a one-man band operation. There is no staff of writers, editors, graphic designers, etc. It’s just one man, one blog. I hope you find something of value here. Thanks for stopping by.
